Welcome to Southern California Vietnamese Golf Alliance (SoCal VGA), established in 1997. SoCal VGA was formed from a group of friends who shared a great passion for the game of golf. Over the years, SoCal VGA has grown to over 100 members strong. We would like to extend our enthusiasm to anyone who would like to join our club.

In 2008, we changed our name to appropriately and respectfully incorporate all our members from the Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties. One of our goals is to stage tournaments and events for members and their guests to play at some of the most beautiful and challenging courses throughout Southern California. Regardless of whether you are a competitive golfer, or someone who just leisurely strolls eighteen, we invite you to come play with us. Our tournaments are geared to include all levels of play. We compete against each other regardless of age, gender, talent or race. Not only are we the largest but we are the longest standing Vietnamese golf club in the nation. There will be many great opportunities for current and potential members to interact with the Vietnamese-American community throughout Southern California.

The highlight of our season culminates with the California Cup. The California Cup is tradition that stretches over 20 years. It is based on Ryder Cup format, members qualify all year long to have the honor to represent SoCal VGA. The top 8 players from each flight; A-flight, B-flight and Legendary flight, will qualify to participate and compete against Northern California VGA in a two day event.

Most importantly our vision includes giving back to our communities. We have donated to several local and abroad charities to benefit our Vietnamese brothers and sisters in the states as well as in our homeland.
